"Sometimes I see a rainbow and I'm filled with so much joy, I frantically try to tell others to look at it. I watch the stranger turn and discover the rainbow. Then they turn to me and are nervous. They want to tell me that they share the same joy, they want to honor my attempt at sharing it, but that's not where they are, they are interacting with a stranger in a parking lot. They can't hide this truth in their bodies, so they cover it up by saying a spirited "Wow!' or "That's amazing." Their effort is more beautiful than if they were able to meet me where I wanted to go.
